Have you ever not picked up the phone for fear of it being
bad news or felt someone was watching you even though you
were all alone? If you have, maybe you shouldn’t listen to
Daffodil Lament because you’re obviously already on edge and
by the time they’re done with you, you’ll be reduced to a
simpering and paranoid shadow of your former self.
Such is the power of Daffodil Lament’s anxiety inducing,
minimalist drone. After listening to songs like “Waiting for
my Man”, unimaginable horrors will seem to hide behind every
door and even your closest friends and family will become
menacing and terrifying. It’s good though. Just don’t
listen to Children Being Destroyed on top of tall buildings.
